Mwuha, das ist ja mal ein tolles Easteregg. Wenn man in Firefox 3 von der Adressleiste aus, about:robots aufruft, erscheint eine Seite, die der Fehlermeldung von Firefox ähnelt. Nur ist das keine langweilige Fehlermeldung, sondern eine kleine Ansammlung von Anspielungen auf Roboter.
Absolut genial! Hab mir die Seite mal gleich als Startseite eingerichtet :))
Und hier die Erklärungen:
1. Im Seitentitel steht: “Gort! Klaatu barada nikto!”
Das ist aus dem Film The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951) und war der Befehl, um die Zerstörung der Erde zu stoppen.
2. “We have come to visit you in peace and with goodwill!”
Ist auch aus The Day the Earth Stood Still. Wurde von Klaatu bei seiner Ankunft gesagt.
3. “Robots may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.”
Das ist aus Three Laws of Robotics und ist der erste asimovsche Gesetz (Robotergesetz).
4. “Robots have seen things you people wouldn’t believe.”
Ist von Betty aus Blade Runner. Orginal Zitat:
I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.
5. “Robots are Your Plastic Pal Who’s Fun To Be With”
Das ist aus Per Anhalter durch die Galaxis. Ist der Slogan von “Sirius Cybernetics Corporation”, den Machern von Marvin.
6. “Robots have shiny metal posteriors which should not be bitten.”
GEIL! :)) Eine Anspielung auf Benders Spruch: “Bite my shiny metal ass”
7. “And they have a plan.”
Ist vermutlich aus Battlestar Galactica
“The Cylons were created by man. They evolved. They rebelled. There are many copies. And they have a plan.“
8. “Please do not press this button again.”
Kennen wir auch aus Per Anhalter durch die Galaxis. Ich hab die Stelle im Buch jetzt nicht wiedergefunden, aber werde Morgen noch Mal danach suchen.
